Breath control expands the vital energy within which keeps our health systems functioning more efficiently.
This time of year when we grasp too much; fitting too much into our schedules, not getting enough rest, our mind too busy, we deplete the energy within and find ourselves feeling less than usual.
This week we will learn to be mindful of detaching rather than grasping within the breath, body and our lives.
This links into Aparigraha, meaning detachment, non grasping.
It is a code of conduct, one of the yamas; the first limb of yoga.
We can understand ourselves better to feel that we can let go with ease and enjoy more.
