Avidya means not seeing, not experiencing the mind as being thought- free.
When this happens through meditation, the one pointed- focus guides us inwards detaching from the body’s disturbances and we can then see “vidya“ that there is a dissolving of the disturbances in body.
The disturbances in the body are obstacles the ignorance make; that is in identifying with the asmita (ego) aspect - I AMNESS.
The obstacles are - I am, so therefore I attach;I like, I hate, I am this body / this life. I need to be pleased. They are known as the Kleshas.
Therefore we assume the ego to be all there is.
When the attachments fall away we become the real self to experience the body and mind as free.
This week we will look into the spine to dissolve the imbalances through introspection and dhyana (meditation).
Om Shanti
