Santosha; contentment

In Warrior pose - are we mentally active or in a centred state of being?

The Niyamas are self disciplines to develop spiritually.

2nd Niyama; Santosha - contentment.

“as a result of contentment one gains supreme joy” 2,42 Patanjali

If we can become free from cravings from sense objects seen or heard there becomes a shift in the mind and priorities.

Our values change from acquiring objects, power or status to seeking the experience of spiritual values such as clarity, serenity, selfless love, faith, joy, not dependent on externals.

Contentment is perfected in the absence of cravings.

It is an experience that nothing is lacking & everything happens as an integral part of a bigger plan.

Om Shanti
