There is a difference between breath and the focus on the three stages of breath. And the link between body and mind.
We will be able to feel the difference as to when just using breath as we know it.
With focus on the three stages, we gain more knowledge and understanding of the deeper link so as to experience that there is a dissolving to holding on to the physical aspect of our being; that being experienced as tensions, toxins in mind and body.
The mind no longer experiences labels of body and tensions there as it would do when we just breathe with no understanding or awareness.
