Very rarely are we fully aware/conscious of the now; in the action of now.
The 2 forces of mind and prana (life force/ energy), maintain the rhythm of life.
We need to bring prana and mind into a steady state so concentration is unbroken awareness of one point at all times, like one long line stretching into the distance, no other idea, no other thought; that is concentration and it should happen by itself.
We will be working with the feet in the asana practice and understanding how through one pointed full focus the life force unblocks and flows up through the body bringing life force back into the knees, hips, lower back and onwards up into the higher body parts.
A natural rhythm in walking is also experienced, and the presence of NOW in consciousness.
We will finish with a deeper investigation of “who is aware of the body, the life force, the senses? And realising there is no direct answer, as the fundamental “I” cannot be put into words and can only be experienced.
When the mind stops its separate existence there is meditation and here there is no separation and there becomes a fullness in the heart.
The mind sense transcends to another level and is not in time, we can see there is a deathless consciousness that is not in time and only the personality dies.
In meditation there is a seeing what doesn’t die.
Consciousness is timeless, we only project it into time.
In presence there are moments of timelessness.
